Innovation and Sustainability since 1963
Mr. Fares Attar established FAATENG in 1963 with the aim of revolutionizing the electromechanical engineering industry on a regional scale. The company was initially specialized in the field of HVAC, becoming a regional agent for Carrier in 1980. Over time, FAATENG expanded its portfolio by acquiring more partnerships and venturing into various sectors.
In 2002, the company became the regional agent for Mitsubishi, a renowned Japanese company, and began supplying the market with elevators and escalators. To meet current market demands, FAATENG has been collaborating with Sharp Elevators since 2016, providing the local market with global products at competitive prices that adhere to stringent quality standards, primarily the European Quality Standard EN81.
In 2022, the company proudly secured the agency of FIREX, a UAE-based company specializing in fire protection products and systems. FIREX holds ISO certifications in Quality Management and Energy Management systems and is also accredited in fire protection and gas pressure systems by LPCB, BCI, EWCL 5, and KitemarkTM.
